I think there will be some downfalls and some rising from many other non notable teams. I believe we can see an upcoming school pull off a huge upset!

Alabama. Always Bama. See my username. As long as Saban is around, we're the standard in the SEC.

You're predicting we may see an upset next season?

In the West, I believe it will come down to the teams that are usually at the top- LSU, Alabama, and Auburn. LSU gets Auburn at home, a big advantage, and return a lot of talent on the defensive side. Though Auburn has now another stout front 7 led by Lawson and the new freshman addition, Cowart. Death Valley will be ramped up for this game.

LSU-Alabama as always will be a tough physical match-up. With the West on the line more than likely, and the fact that LSU has lost the last four meetings, the intensity will again be high. I think Fournette will be one of the most improved players in the SEC next year, so watching him go up against Reggie Ragland in the middle will be intriguing.

Then of course the IB in Jordan Hare. Last time it was played here, Kick 6 happened and from there on, the stakes of the IB have never been higher. More than just bragging rights for state pride now. Atmosphere in JH will be electric as usual too.

Going into the season - Ohio State. Just the way I like it - less inflating Bama player egos, more pressure on Urban "Breakdown" Meyer.

But to go along with that, I think Arkansas is the team to watch out for. Their 1-2 punch at RB, along with a solid TE, and Brandon Allen more than likely improved. They have tough road games @Ole Miss, @Alabama, and of course, @LSU.

I agree that it is still Alabama overall.

I think the slight consensus is probably that Auburn is the best positioned to make a run this season, but I don't think we're the "team to beat" yet.
