Everett Golson informed Brian Kelly Thursday AM that he is transferring out of #NotreDame, source told @FoxSports.
Wasn't LSU a rumored destination a little while back? You have to figure an SEC team will be in the sweepstakes if he can play immediately (not sure if he can or not at this point).

Everett Golson just took his last final and is set to graduate from #NotreDame. The graduate transfer QB will be eligible in 2015.

It couldn't hurt to bring him in.
At worst, he would be a quality back-up with big game experience.

Whats the SEC rule about grad transfer?? Have to have two years of eligibility left?

Thought the SEC rule stopped transfers unless they had 2 years of eligibility left?

I would think that LSU and Alabama would both be big players in the Everett Golson sweepstakes. Florida too? Who else?

not so sure about that. I was listening to a reporter that covers OSU a few weeks ago on CFL. Dude said Golson is still a month or two from starting to throw the ball. He hasn't even picked up a ball since his shoulder surgery.

I don't think LSU would take him at this point. Harris potentially transferring would be too high a price to pay for one year of Golson.

Nope. Jake McGee transferred into UF last year from UVA with only one year of eligibility left. He only got another year because of a medical hardship.

Golson and Braxton Miller are two different people.

Didn't he fail out of ND for a year? Has he graduated now?
