VOLS - a question about your offensive system

What kind of spread does Butch run? What kind would he prefer to run?
A true HUNH that is run heavy like Gus?
A passing heavy spread like Sumlin?
Balanced spread option like Urban?
The Hugh Freeze either score on 60-yard touchdowns or punt spread?
Hugh wants to be somewhere in between Gus and Urban, FWIW.
Admittedly, I didn't watch much Tennessee football last season.
TIA

The terms "gimmicky," "high school," and "Mickey Mouse" are used when referring to Gus Malzahn's scheme.

He tries to run Petrino's scheme with less creativity and success

TA likes to get weird with it.

Spread Option HUNH.
At least we run that now that Dobbs is the QB.
We increased our Average rushing yards per game by over 106 YPG when he took over.

Butch played the flute in the band. He could never pull as much leg as Petrino.

It should be interesting to see what happens this year.
He runs a similar system to what Rich Rod is/has been doing down in Arizona/WVU.
It's a run first spread. It should be fun to watch this year, as this will be the first season that we'll run the tempo that Butch has been aiming for. We started to get a better picture of what that's going to be in the Iowa game last year. It's not going to ever be at the speed that Oregon runs it at(by design), but it should be a lot closer than these last 2 years. Cycling Worley out and bringing Dobbs in changed the dynamics of the offense in a big way. With Dooley's QB's no longer on the roster, the offense that you'll see this coming year should be a better indicator of what's to come going forward.
I wouldn't be surprised to see us not to far behind AU's pace of play moving forward.

It should be fairly run heavy with Dobbs, Hurd and Kamara. There was a noticeable difference last year when Dobbs was inserted into the starting lineup and I would expect even more rushing attempts with the improvement of the OL and the addition of Kamara.
I'm not really sure what kind of play caller our new OC will be compared to Bajakian but it can't possibly be any worse.

Literally just ate some of that stuff that's some good shite

The Oline is the key in any system we decide to run, Dobbs made things happen that Worley couldn't. If the line is improved things should be MUCH better.

No doubt. Replacing all 5 OL starters last year had a lot to do with our pace of play.

Balanced spread option like Urban?
This is the best answer out of what you listed.
