BAMA Qb's

I know people are dogging lsu for their qb situation, but looking at bama and studying their whole spring thingy their situations is not any better.
Jacob Coker who could not beat out sims isn't dominating this camp and according to people 3* qb from Texas Alec Morris and former 4* Qb cornwell are very close to him
Coker: 14-28, 183 yards, one touchdown, one interception
Morris: 7-11, 60 yards
Bateman: 7-11, 48 yards, one interception
Cornwell: 12-24, 110 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions
Barnett: 6-9, 25 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions.
The bigger concern would be playmaking, if you remember clearly Bama won with pocket passers but that was with their great running game, how good is Henry going to be this year? cause he is their only legit rb. Not hating but its funny their qb situation isn't being discussed.

Is incorrect apostrophe usage something that I'm just going to have to get used to? Have we crossed this particular Rubicon, and now there's no going back?

4 replies so far: 4 deflections.
Seems about right

Yeah but if the analysts from 247 sports are saying they wouldn't be suprised if Cornwell or Morris starts how does that make you feel about Coker? Bama does not have a running qb this year, y'all could be in line for some weird season this year. I love y'all's defense though

Look back at Blake sims spring game at get back to me. Hell the year that AJ threw three picks all season began with a 3 interception spring game

Makes me feel like you dont know what you are talking about at all. Morris will never play a serious down of football ever at Alabama. Cornwell is in the thick of things because he has been having a great spring despite the spring game. Go back and watch Sims at QB last spring. Coker is more athletic than you think. Our offense is going to be just fine but if you want to sit here and troll, go for it. Ill find you in Fall when it counts and we can hash this out when i bump this thread. You learned nothing from last year.

I see down year BAMA. Neither QB has what it takes to be at least a game manager. Mixed n with a D that prolly won't up to all the num1 recruiting hype. It's gonna be a long season for Coker

Here's how 1st year starters have done since Saban arrived:
Greg McElroy - BCS Chmpions
AJ MCCarron - BCS Champions
Blake Sims - CFB Final 4
I doubt Saban is going to panic just yet.

Insightful analysis of the spring thingy.

So when we have a QB being a game manager is easy. But when we're looking for one its too hard of a task

FIFY, what a hideous display of grammar.

Direct Quote from 247
Alabama’s five quarterbacks – Jacob Coker, Alec Morris, Cooper Bateman, David Cornwell and Blake Barnett – combined for 426 yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions on 46-of-83 passing in Saturday’s A-Day spring game. Coker, who was the first quarterback up for the White team (the first-team offense), produced the best numbers with 183 yards and one touchdown on 14-of-28 passing, but he also had the best options to work with. On the other hand, the younger signal callers combined for five interceptions and two touchdowns. Needless to say, it was a day to forget for most of the quarterbacks, but luckily for them, Nick Saban said there “can be no great conclusions drawn” from Saturday’s spring scrimmage. Grade: D

I would have rated it an F in last year's spring game (aka "spring thingy").

So we moved up from last years F- (in the spring thingy). We going to the ship instead of the semifinals!!
