Depends on the OLs as much as the backs. If UGAs OL is as good at run blocking as they were last year then Chubb should win easily.
Our OL isn't good enough to put money down on our RBs even though they have plenty of talent but I'm very interested in seeing what Kamara and Hurd do. There's a few plays where we'll have them on the field together and they complement one another very well. They will still be very good but I'd kill to see them run behind a good run blocking OL.

Whichever RB that plays on fire at Auburn will be the running back that wins the SEC rushing title unless Chubb plays at a Heisman level. Probably sounds homerish but whenever Auburn picks up tempo during a drive, we are not passing the ball, so the RB will always have opportunities to get his.

Chubb because his offensive system is just better and will have more balance in the passing game to take people out of the box.

i want to say Fournette because he is about to go of, but i think Chubb will get significantly more carries, and so will the Auburn RB.
So. probably Auburn RB, unless Chubb pushed close to 300 carries
Fournette won't get over 250 carries.

I don't think he will. Normally Richt does the RB by committee thing. Last year was a fluke because of all the injuries and we have 4 solid RBs on the roster that can share the load.

Ok...then Jonathan Williams. I think he's gonna have his best season yet...that kid just plays big boy football

Y'all hav had some injury problems in the last few years, but i don't know about the RB by committee thing. Your #1 consistently gets twice as many as the next guy, and the 3rd and 4th get caps.
But then again thats just looking at stats, there are a lot of injuries to factor in.

How far back are you going?

If you go back to 2004 (as far back as you can on espn. there has been a clear cut workhorse RB every year but 3.
The last time you had a real running back committee was 2009, and it was probably because none of those guys were really elite (good stats though, UGA has a great system)

We have So. Sony Michel (former 5*), RJr. Keith Marshall (former 5*), RSo. AJ Turman, and Jr. Brendan Douglas behind him.
What are you babbling on about?

Chubb was 62 yards away from the lead last year. That's about 9 of his average carries.
