My uncle moved to Orange Beach about a year ago and has talked me into staying with him from May until I go to summer classes in July
Are there any jobs at a beach or marina or something that they would hirer you if you don't have any experience around boats?
My uncle is a manager at a restraunt, so I have a job there if I want it, but I'd rather work at a job doing something outside., other than cutting grass lol I've been doing that the past 6-7 summers
Edit: will work hard, be on time etc.. Not afraid of hard work

Go to the rental companies that need help putting out and picking up beach chairs

Condos, rental companies, marina...they'll always have jobs available for manual labor. If you want a marina job, keep in mind you won't be working on a boat. It'd mostly be hauling ice, gassing boats, maintaining dock slips, etc.

It's long hour days in the sun but you'll make a decent bit of money and work up a tan for the Cougars at the bama

Go to the Cribe and talk to the guy in charge of the pools.
It is across the bridge on beach rd.
The work is a fun type of work, girls in tiny bikins.
Ask to speak to Morris and tell him you aren't afraid of work.
Good luck.

OBA marina or the Warf, you'll be spraying seagull shite, tying boats, and helping pump fuel. Not out of the ordinary for a high roller to toss you 50-100 bones

quote:This is true. You'll make more on tips than your wages at the marinas. Make nice with the charter boat captains and they'll normally ask you for help if they need an extra hand loading/unloading.
