I'm in a big group text with Bama and Auburn fans and a Bama fan just asked who they would rather have? All the Bama fans immediately jumped to AJ. I want to know y'all's opinion

One has multiple Elite Eight appearances and experience recruiting.
One was fired from the NBA twice.

I kept it civil and told them only time will tell. They're still drooling how AJ is better.

One also has an NBA championship, but that's nothing compared to the elite 8 Amirite?

Pearl and it's not a question.

Most people would say Bruce I assume.
A more interesting and more competitive question would be Bruce and AU vs. AJ and Alabama.

Auburn fans are feeling insecure already. Don't worry. Your coach is still the second best basketball coach in Alabama.

Erik Spoelstra has two. Would you want that idiot anywhere near Tuscaloosa?

Not at all. I wanted an honest answer from non bias people.

I mean....one is proven in college basketball and one isnt. you have to take Pearl. Obviously. Doesn't mean Johnson can't be a hell of a coach though. He could end up being better than Pearl one day.

It's amazing what a coach can spew out to please fans at his introductory press conference.
Did AJ's hire manage to keep their recruiting class together?

But, the other has been fired from a university.

Bruce, but Bama has had success in the past bringing unsuccessful coaches from the pros and giving them free reign to cheat, so who knows?

Bruce
I do not think AJ is a bad hire though. Bruce is just a proven commodity in college

Gotta give the nod to AJ due to BP's documented lack of integrity.
BP's is a great coach though and I can't help but like his personality.

I was expecting most bama fans to say AJ, and most Auburn fans to say BP. Like I said just thought it would be interesting from a more non bias stand point.
