Skal Labissiere putting on a show for the many NBA execs in attendance. Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up as #1 recruit in 2015 HS class.
Sam Vecenie ?@Sam_Vecenie 11m11 minutes ago
Skal Labissiere has been awesome in the first hour of practice at Hoop Summit. Outplaying Thon Maker by a considerable margin.

This should be interesting, when we got "LeBron 2.0" as tabbed by the LSU recruiting board in this class.

Simmons was so far ahead of everyone at the McD game then went on to almost single handedly deliver Mont5verde yet another national title, dude is not losing the #1 spot.

The current No. 1 recruit in the 2015 high school class and another potential top-five pick in 2016 is also in Portland in Ben Simmons. He arrived on Tuesday following his most valuable player performance in the high school national championships, and was measured at 6-foot-10 with a 6-11 wingspan and an 8-7 standing reach. Those aren't great numbers, but they aren't necessarily a backbreaker either for a point-forward type like Simmons. He probably won't be able to defend power forwards regularly, but his future seems to lie on the wing anyway. He's working with the perimeter players here, and even got to see some time as a point guard on Tuesday. For me, he was probably the second-best player on the floor behind Labissiere, which isn't a surprise given his general standing as a prospect.

Clearly we should pull his offer. Only 6'10? I expect all my small forwards to be at least 7'1 with a 7'5 wingspan. Anything less is unacceptable. Maybe he can latch on at a third rate program like Ole Miss if he's lucky.

I said Lebron part 2 in reference to his position as point forward, not that Simmons will be as good.

Yeah, because I'm sure those posters were 100% serious and credible

Isn't Simmons at the same Hoops Summit workout as Skahl...why, yes...yes he is

I'm talking about the whole time there (through scrimmages/practices), they kept saying he was "Clearly the best player" there over and over and over. In the game he played a specific role as a distributor. If he wanted to drop 30 he easily could but tried to get everyone involved.

Wanna make a bet who will finish #1 in the composite rankings this year?

Well, hell...let's just bet on which team finishes higher and advances in the tourney next year.
No need to be so butthurt to post a thread on the Rant on how piss poor Cal is on player development...shite, what a fricking response thread.

That thread had nothing to do with this. Just pointing out a fact

Pointing out what? You pointed out nothing but starting a troll thread in response to this.
It's ok, you get so butthurt and worked up if Simmons is not mentioned as the "man". Continue with the paranoia.

Not a troll thread and it was not in response to this at all. Just was talking to someone about it and noticed how Cal doesn't progress really any of his players who stay. No need to get butthurt about it and continue to bring it up. Sorry Cal is horrible at developing players, but hey at least you have the fact he is the best recruiter in basketball by a wide margin.
And sorry if my laughing at a statement that wont happen makes you upset, it wont happen, sorry. That's why I was laughing.
