OK. So why does AU continue to block AUM from having a football team? What are they scared of?

They aren't equal though. AUM isn't equal to AU. LSU's campuses in Alexandria/Shreveport/Eunice aren't equal to LSU Baton Rouge even though Gov. Bobby Jindal is considering deep budget cuts for higher education in Louisiana that could cripple those outlier campuses.
