Mine was the 2000 Alabama-Vanderbilt game. September 9.

I assume you are referring to only SEC football. In which case, LSU @ Ole Miss 2003. LSU wins 17-14, Jonathan Nichols misses two FGs for the Rebels, Ole Miss does not win the West, and LSU wins the national title.

2001 Auburn vs Ball State. The debut of Carnell Williams.

Auburn-LSU 1992, my first weekend on campus. Scott Etheridge kicked the game winner and I got to meet him at a party that same night. Pretty cool experience

The first actual game I attended in any sport above the high school level was the Giants-Braves game in Fulton County Stadium where Hank Aaron hit his 500th home run.

I was 5 years old. I didn't realize until many years later the significance of that game and the wealth of players in it (Aaron, Mays, McCovey, Bonds, the Alou Brothers, Torre).
My first college football game was the first SEC game in Jordan-Hare Stadium when the new (West) upper deck was opened. Doug Barfield's job was lost that day when Tennessee raped us 42-0 in front of the home crowd.

Georgia was 2002 vs New Mexico State. I definitely went to like 3 or 4 FSU games before that though

I'll never forget my first time going into Tiger Stadium.
Everyone else probably has the same sentiments.
It's awesome your first time in your schools cathedral.
