Petition to let Ranters nominate and elect our own Moderator

Just to help clean up certain topics on the main Rant and occasionally the other SECR boards. Doesn't necessarily have to have access to the full ban hammer.
The Mod could also solve some of the issues from this Help board that often go ignored by bringing them up in the Mod/Admin board.
There would be three benefits:
1. Improve the quality of discussion in the Rant by having a dedicated mod to prune shitposting.
2. Reduce the workload on the current overtasked mod team.
3. Silence some of the voices that claim an unreasonable LSU bias in moderating and will provide some transparency.

I disagree with this concept. I move that we have less moderation. Freedom of Speech and all that.

Just because 97% of hoggies are gulpers doesn't mean they shouldn't post, but as the op said, it would be nice not to have 50 of the same posts started the same day.

I'd gladly do it. I'm a government employee so I sit at a computer for 8 hours a day, often times non-stop. Then sometimes I get on a computer at home too!

Like the idea, maybe a few from different fan bases, without the ban power. Maybe Third, Cheshire, Semo, CayceCock?

Decent suggestions especially compared to some others listed on here.
I think it's a stupid idea when there are already mods supposed to be doing this anyway, let's just ban trolls in game threads. They're the worst IMO.
