How far can Mizzou make it in the SEC tourney?

Image from Matter. Don't know where he got it. Assuming it's accurate, how crazy would it be if Mizzou actually won the SEC tourney to make the NCAA tourney?
I know. I know. I'm dreaming. Last night was just one game. But still. I can look at those teams on our half of the bracket and dream a little dream.

If that thing is accurate. We'd still be doing good if we made it past Vandy. I think it's one of those one game at a time deals. We beat a down Florida team last night that just made a few more mistakes than we did. Some of those resulted in fouls and free throws. Besides Wright's out of no where explosion. I'd have to see what kind of wins they could get the rest of the season before looking past Vandy.

That's a pretty good draw, but Id still be surprised if we won more than one game.

Tourney is in Nashville, so Vandy would be playing a home game basically. We saw what happened last time playing in Nashville.

Oh I hear ya. I just look at those brackets and see what should be a cakewalk for Mizzou to the finals in most years.

I don't think some of the SEC schools get enough credit for being relevant BB schools. Most of those teams are pretty good teams. Of course Kentucky is in a league of their own.
I'd say you're spot on though. In years past Mizzou should have been able to walk through most of them anyways. Maybe, if we can keep some of this team together, it might come back around.

We are not going to win a game in Nashville. THis team is terrible on the road and Vandy is pretty much at home.

They would disband the SEC and farm all the teams out to other conferences.........oh and the world would end.....but it would be glorious!

Heres where I stand, if we play vandy we're donezo. If we can get either Miss state or AU I feel like we can win the opening round.

I think we have 3 more regular season games, two of which we have a reasonable shot at. Georgia should beat us...but looking at their record, many of their wins are squeakers and they're up and down through the season.
As far as the tourney, mizslu is right: if it's Vandy, we're done. MS State or Auburn, we have a shot to win one game.

More than likely. However, the team genuinely looked like they were having fun and starting to figure things out during the Florida game. They even rallied around the coach as if they finally "understand".
If that's the case, they could be a dangerous team. I mean, they have absolutely nothing to play for, so as it stands right now they can just go out and have a good time meaning they are now playing with zero stress or expectations.
That can make them dangerous.

I think so (the having fun thing being a factor) but I don't know...
It would be pretty damn cool going into next season if they could string together a few wins in Nashville though.

The team will make it to Nashville assuming the Columbia airport magic doesn't strike and take out an engine on the way there.
