I think after Saban leaves that Bama won't be as attractive of a job. He's just been too damn good, and the fan base won't accept anything less IMO. Of course they have the recognition and prestige, but I think the coach after Saban is going to really have his hands full trying to meet expectations.
That entire fanbase is going to have an aneurysm when their next coach is average

Not suprises by your response since A&M is ranked higher tan Auburn.

Foley doesn't break the bank for new coaches;
This isn't the only approach to getting a coach. Meyer was the perfect hire. He didn't cost a fortune, but as soon as he won he was made the highest paid coach in football at the time. He gave Spurrier the largest contract of the time as well. Foley pays guys what they are worth, nothing wrong with that method.

While it will be tough to fill his shoes, they have resources galore. You're kidding yourself.
Ok, go look at previous coaches before Saban. They had an overwhelming amount of success with Bear, but it took them a long time to get back to that level again.
Go look at literally every powerhouse that's ever been. Nebraska, Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan...

He's still mad A&M ruined their season.

Texas has lost it's prestige in recent years. And the shitshow they exposed during their latest coaching search makes you wonder if they are even top 5 anymore.

Where would you put us? 23rd?

Slightly ahead. We're about #15 in all time wins, but the current allocation of resources is NOTHING like it was even just 5 years ago, much less 40 years ago. We were such a small school LSU wouldn't even travel to play us; we had to play them in LA pretty much every year, or the occasional neutral site.
Given current resources, fanbase, and recruiting base, I think A&M is ranked fairly accurately.

I might rank South Carolina a little lower.
Why?
Because SCAR pays so well?
Because of the outstanding facilities?
Because of all the in-state talent that only keeps getting better?
Because SCAR is a member of the SEC?
Oh, wait, I know why. It's because of SCAR's disloyal, uninterested, fan base.

We have a top tier coaching salary, assistant coaching salary, stadium, fan support, recruiting base, conference(TV deal & exposure) and other facilities.
The only think we are lacking is the history of a Alabama, USC, or Notre Dame.

Doesn't matter much when that talent ends up at Clemson 75% of the time

I read that to mean: if a coach had offers from every of these schools, here is the order in which he would pick. Money would factor heavily into that
If they had offers from all schools, I guarantee UF would not let money be an issue. If Bob Stoops wanted to come to UF, I guaranteed we would have paid him a top salary, money isn't an issue. We're paying McElwain $3.5 million/year on top his $7 million buyout while still owing $6 million to Muschamp. How many schools are going out and spending that kind of money just to get a new coach?

For the guy right after Saban yeah it's a death trap but if taking over for an average coach it's top 5 or 6 for sure. These things are so tough to quantify though

you say this like it's such a small thing
I think aTm is a great job given you get to recruit out of Texas and play in the SEC. But you share a state that is also listed as the #1 job...
that will always make life hard on whoever is coaching at aTm

Honestly, because of all the SEC money and facility race, I'd have every SEC program inside the top 25 besides Vanderbilt and Kentucky.
