In regards to our treatment of minority school children.
Missouri's Black Suspension Rate
Please pay attention to the 2nd quoted paragraph. The article states that St. Louis schools, particularly inner St. Louis, Normandy, and Riverview Gardens suspended black children at the highest rate in the state of Missouri. The Center for Civil Rights Remedies concluded that Missouri is the most racist state in terms of bias against black school children.
Yet, the article didn't mention that those three schools have a majority black attendance with a majority black administration.
For example, the race demographic of St. Louis County school districts: 84% black
This article's conclusions seem manufactured based on incredibly skewed data to fit a narrative.
Hmmmmmm....
Missouri's Black Suspension Rate
quote:
More than 14 percent of black elementary students were suspended at least once in Missouri during the 2011-2012 school year, compared to 7.6 percent of black students nationwide.
Meanwhile, Missouri’s suspension rate for white elementary students mirrored the national percentage of 1.6, according to the report by the Center for Civil Rights Remedies at The Civil Rights Project at UCLA.
quote:
St. Louis suspended 29.1 percent of its black elementary students at least once in 2011-2012, followed by Normandy at 21.7 and Riverview Gardens at 21.4. Kansas City also suspended more than 20 percent of its black students.
quote:
“It’s emblematic of problems (in the communities) and indicators of racial bias,” he said. He noted that many districts in Missouri did not have high suspension rates, but the biggest concerns were shown in districts that have high concentrations of black students and poor students.

"Majority" doesn't even do it any justice, were talking 98.6% black.

Yet this study concludes that deep racism is a Missouri problem (implication, a white problem) while ignoring demographic stats in the two largest cities' school districts.
Essentially, black administrators are suspending black students but white Missourians are the problem.
Think about that.

Lol.
My wife goes through this shite. They didn't even know one kid was a minority until the OIG started making them fill out paperwork on the kid.
Hey, Minority kids, stop acting shitty.

Deciding that school suspensions are a mark of racism is breath taking in its absurdity. You have to be in awe of the twisted logic that was behind this conclusion.

Exactly, yet we are the racists for thinking this way. It is now racist to hold parents accountable for their children's behavior.
We're the problem, not the problem kids.
Folks, we live in a backwards society where nothing makes sense. Essentially we've shifted into a parallel universe within the past 5 or 6 years.

Kills always finds a way to bring up racism but only when it's supposedly against white people or he thinks it's not true. You need a hobby man. It's clear what's on your mind. But the said part is that you will say the most outlandish stuff and people run to proclaim how amazing your points are.

It's been going on much longer than that, it's just been reaching a new crescendo lately.
The theatre of the absurd on display er'where.

I don't know if you're referring to the other thread about racial stigma between the coach and players was brought up or not, I don't know. I agreed with it because to me it makes sense. I've been around that kind of situation several times. Not calling it right or wrong. Just saying, whether or not you agree with it, it does happen.

Of course it's manufactured results. That's what social studies and polls are. Manufactured results to fit ones agenda what ever that may be. Sometimes you don't have to tell the whole story for it to fit or just skew some numbers and there you go. It really proves nothing if you look at it analytically.
