Look goober, if you want to dance at the Sonic, I'll be in the Panhandle in two weeks. Break out your leg warmers and get ready. I found your picture from the 80s. I'm quite certain you are an excellent dancer.
Seriously, I'm in Jacksonville this weekend (daughter's volleyball tourney) and would let you buy me a drink. If you'll just leave your credit card # at Ruth's Chris @ Crowne Plaza on Saturday, you won't even have to show up!...Helluva deal!

That 2012 team was a defensive team as well. They were just amazing in transition.

They are scary good. Have a bad offenseive performance? Eh, it's all good, they have the same average height as the Monstars on Space Jam. Their size shut people dowwwwwn.

This is correct. The clowns (mostly Hogs) belittling this team are FOS. When the opposition honestly has their attention, somebody's gonna get stomped...and it'll probably be the hogs next.

Is that because the rest of the teams they play suck?

I really don't see anyone belittling them, there's just several folks who think there's been much better looking KY (and other teams) in the not so distant past- that's not to say this team isn't very good.

Kentucky is built for the Hogs style of play. Tall and athletic to go over the press. Also, with the 10-man rotation, they don't have to worry about fatigue. Kentucky's problem is the fact that they play down to their competition, which is completely understandable when you are that talented.

Wait what? I hear that argument a lot and its really pretty stupid.

Their problem is they don't have much offense and they don't seem to push the ball or take advantage of their size and athleticism in transition. From what I've seen that Kansas game was the only game they did and look what happened. I hope we watch and focus on what Ole Miss did, play them physical, push the pace, pressure them and don't be intimidated.

They're winning because of defense and depth. No one is saying they're not a great team. They're just not as HOLY shite dominant and fun to watch as everyone seems to be saying.

Sorry I refuse to eat out of Cal and UKs hand. Apparently Arkansas and Florida are the only fans not willing to completely kiss their butts. No coincidence there. I honestly expect to lose, and probably handily because its at Rupp, but everyone on this team besides Beard has beat them at least 2 times so I don't expect us to roll over.

I'll also give plenty of props if they come in and blow us out, maybe Cal finally stops overlooking us this year.

You seem to be backing off the bravado a bit toward the end of your post...I don't blame you....this one may get ugly.

Is it hard to fit a Bama, Kentucky, Yankees and Patriots logo all onto one fanboy shirt?

Bama fan through and through. I, obviously unlike you, have grown accustomed to being around an elite college athletic dynasty, therefore can appreciate a team like Kentucky and their accomplishments....probably why so many Alabama folks have complimentary things to say about their program. Don't dismay though, I'd imagine that it would be almost impossible to understand if you'd never been in that position.

Honestly, I'm hoping for a 1st round upset that would eclipse Norfolk State's upset over Mizzou a few years ago because I like to watch the world burn.

Rub in what? That the rest of the conference was so shitty UK was able to cakewalk to an undefeated regular season?

An established power like UK going undefeated won't bring that much extra exposure. It just reinforces the opinion that the SEC is a one-team league. If it was someone like Auburn or South Carolina, sure.

I do understand, we won more games in the 1990s than any other team. Including your great blue dynasty. Since we finally seem to be somewhat on track, I'm not gonna bend over for them similar to the rest of the SEC. Speaking of understanding, you'd think a Bama fan in all your greatness would understand 10-15 years of futility in a sport they were considered a power.

Enjoy wearing your Kentucky blues come March.

Pulling for UK in bball is the equivalent of pulling for Bama in football. No thanks.

Calipari & Saban do seem to be an awful lot alike. Cal has a better personality publically, but IMO their coaching philosophy's are similar.
