Bundage retweeted something yesterday about him not considering us to kind of hammer the point home and yet we still have folks on our side thinking we could land him. So dumb. So, so dumb.

FWIW. the avg recruit score of 86.75 on 247 is the highest avg rating for Arkansas ever. It translates into an average star rating of about 3.7.

Last year was the 2nd highest ever at 86.4 or 3.6 stars

the year before was 5th all time at 84.7 or 3.5 stars

good shite

stars this year seem a bit inflated. we had a couple two stars who were bumped up to a three only because we offered.

biggest concern to me is the numbers. we are thin at CB and OL, yet only signed 19.

we're always thin somewhere it seems. Not signing as many as we wanted is bad sign to me as we should of had backup options. That's my biggest complaint is eventually not getting the bodies you need won't end well but maybe it's their plan for 2017 recruiting class to sell playtime.

well, we did get 3 three star and 1 two star walk-ons that didnt use scholarships.
but agreed on the depth at CB and OL.
The good news is we're deeper than ever on the DL it seems

I wasn't impressed with Putu's film, I just didn't say anything because it's not good policy to be negative about a perspective recruit on here unless I want to take a bunch of grief.

I'm sure he's physically talented or else our staff wouldn't have offered but all those turnovers he got were incredibly weak.

Not familiar with that league he played in, but the opposing QB's looked like 8th graders throwing the ball.

On at least two of his interceptions he was beaten badly by the juco WR only to get it because the QB under threw it by 10 yards.

Anyway, I'm not disappointed in not getting him. He probably not too bright either.

We'll follow to see if he ever does anything there.

While i like walk-ons and hope they do well there is a reason we didn't offer them scholarships in this class even though we had some to give.

I'm just hoping someone emerges as a threat for a sack consistently at some point. Tons of depth and no stars that have emerged from it.

Like I said on the NSD board.. I'm happy with the kids we got. Extremely bummed with our finish.

With that said I feel comfortable with our roster for this year. Just hope one of our talented young qb's can step up!

Decent class but what a terrible finish. Can't even sign a full class.

All of our walk-ons must be salivating at the potential scholarhips.

Cue the spring video of Bielema surprising not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 walk-ons with scholarships.

This is nothing short of a disaster… don't believe all the spinsters and mouthpieces in the media like that idiot Bo who thinks nobody cheats and Arkansas got every player they wanted.

Bert whiffed on multiple, multiple recruits and this has happened every year. He said two or three weeks ago we were signing 25. Thats not even close to happening.

Every one can see that depth is going to be an issue. I don't think he's signed a full 25 yet since he's been here. Oh and don't be surprised if Capps is moved to OLine either. This is embarrassing to get beatlike a drum every year on signing day.

I'm fine (excited, even) about the class, but I suppose I can understand being disappointed with the ending.

Though I personally think that's more of a function of how built up "SIGNING DAY!" has been over the years.

Well, most of the time we are competing against the in-state school on NSD for an out of state recruit.

How would we have liked it if Agim, Capps, and Jones had been sitting at a table on NSD with lsu, auburn, bama, and florida caps in front of them?

Let's appreciate that fact that unlike some schools, we didn't have to sweat it out to the end just to sign our best in-state talent.

We've got to have much improved safety play and I don't know if we accomplished that this time. I haven't heard much said about the safety from florida that we got, committed early and never waivered.

Improved safety and a QB to emerge and we could still have an improved 2016.

The difference is that we have very few of them so getting each one is extremely important. In states like Louisiana and Florida there are several other recruits they can get if one goes out of state.

Today was a fricking joke and Bert should be embarrassed but I'm not a perpetual negahog and we got some good players. I'm still most excited about Hammonds.

5-3 in the SEC last year.
Wins against Tenner, Ole Piss and LSU who had better classes than we did in 2015
