dont worry. LSU's fan base is different. they love everyone in the tiger family unless you only win 9 games

Wally tells stories...about 5-10 years after it happened and said coach isn't there any more.

Why does it seem like at least 90% of LSU fans are complete assholes. never seen a fan base filled with so much vitriol.

I think mudbone is holding a grudge because we've beaten LSU convincingly two years in a row.

might be part of it

bet it also has to do with not wanting to see his son help beat his favorite team every year and possibly keep LSU out of the championship game. He'd rather him go to Florida where they can't keep LSU out of the championship game and LSU has a better chance of beating them.

I honestly think KF wants to come to Arkansas. Why else would his dad mention that he doesn't think Arkansas is a good fit to a Florida reporter? He's obviously making sure his opinion of Arkansas is made very public.

Tobias Enlow has committed to Arkansas as an invited walk-on.

This one is going to be a steal IMO. If he hadn't gotten hurt and knocked out for his senior year, he would have landed significantly better offers than SEMO and UCA.

i'm becoming convinced this is correct. just read the gatorcountry interview, and dude's quotes were far more anti-arkansas than pro-florida.

i also decided to look at his posting history, he's been saying arkansas has no chance for 6 months now and kind of being a dick about it. "keep wishing", "never a threat", and this great nugget
quote:

Your staff and every staff in the country . But I can tell you this that's one school He may. Visit but I promise he WILL NOT SIGN WITh I've spoken

he seems to have an anti-arkansas agenda.

but of course there is this quote of his after arkansas took lsu to the woodshed:
quote:

That was hard to watch. All that talent maybe they need better coaching than recruiters

then a week later:
quote:

i never said he was a lock . what i did say is that he's not going to arkansas . i said book it so get your facts straight

all anti-arkansas, all the time. whether asked or not.

I guess I shouldn't say this but screw this helicopter dad. It's one thing to be concerned for your child, it's another to be concerned for yourself which is what he is all about. His username is over 2 years old, he's obviously seen LSU fans eat their own alive time and time again by now. Also, someone should tell him to do videos instead of written diatribes. That Cajun Ooooh eeeee ooow ohhhh talk doesn't translate well to the written word.

I'm excited for Muddbone's participation in next seasons LSU coaching offseason drama. There will probably be inside the locker room information passed out like candy on here which should fan the flames quite nicely.

Assuming that muddbone is KF's actual father, I've cooled on KF as a recruit. No fault of his, but a father that involved in online message boards just drips of drama.

Maybe it's sour grapes since we obviously aren't getting him anyway, but I really don't think we need a resentful parent who doesn't like our program involved.

Best of luck to KF, and I hope for the whole family's sake that his dad takes a hiatus from the message boards during his time as a player. For our sake, though, it should be highly entertaining

It doesn't affect my interest in KF at all. Alex Collins's mother took his letter of intent away from him on signing day because she didn't want him to leave Florida and go to Arkansas. He signed here anyway because he knew it was where he wanted to go, and just look how it turned out for him. Three 1000 yard seasons as a freshman, sophomore, and junior. Only three other RBs have done that in SEC history--Herschel Walker and Darren McFadden. He had a chance to come back and be the first to run for 1000 yards in four seasons, but chose instead to go to the NFL where he's going to become a wealthy man and chase his dreams.

His mother was apparently anti-Arkansas too, but he became one of our most beloved Razorbacks of all time, and he clearly enjoyed his time here. It worked out great for him and for us.

If Fulton chooses to come to Arkansas, which seems unlikely but still possible, then I think he'll have a great career, his father will learn to accept it, and his entire family will come around to loving Arkansas, at least as long as Fulton is playing there. When he gets drafted into the NFL his dad can go back to disliking Arkansas if he wants.

edit: another similarity between Fulton and Collins is that Fulton has an extremely good chance of coming in and playing his freshman season. He could possibly even start, but he'll almost certainly play in nickel or dime, and as a backup in base defense.

I'm not going to hold anything against a kid for their parent's actions as it relates to the recruiting process. Primarily because I find the process as it stands leaves me with an oily, nauseous feeling, generally speaking.

Fulton hasn't done anything I've seen that warrants any sort of vitriol. And while I am not a parent, hypothetically, if I were, and my son were that level of athlete, I would let him make his own decision. That said, there is zero doubt if he didn't end up in Fayetteville, a part of me would be crushed. I don't know that I'd be on a message board somewhere commenting on it, but still.

In any case, this sort of thing is why I limit my exposure to recruiting to a week or two prior to signing day, and the press conference going over the recruits afterwards (I always enjoy those).

+1. a little disappointing to see what his dad is saying on here, but not going to hold that against the kid.

Yeah, I should have added that kid has handled himself like a champ unlike the dad who's acted like a chump. Evidently that apple fell a pretty good way from the tree.

You know, I have too. KF seems to be a good kid, or at least not a drama king. I wish him well whatever he decides. Unless it's playing against us of course.

At this point, it's not going to bother me if he signs with us or not. Would love to have him, but not sure if his dad could live with it. In that case, KF needs to put family first. Even if it means sacrificing what he really wanted to do.

I am kind of excited about Putu, I think we may have gotten a real steal there. I also think Ryan Pulley is going to have a breakout year and turn into what his potential is. (Yes, I remember him getting abused last year, but hopefully he will learn and be motivated by that.)

So Pollard flipped.... Seems as though the Arkansas guys were wrong again.... I've never seen such inept information as the arky rivals guys... and they always seem negative... I hate to listen to Trey on drive time because he never seems excited about anything.... idk ... maybe I'm just to sensitive or something....

.... so who is still on our board?
Fulton
Porter
Lawrence

who else?
