Move B-Mc to WR

I'm very hesitant to do that becuase we've been VERY good at RB under McClendon.

Bmac is a great RB coach why do we need to move him? Keep him where he's at

[quote he may have an interest, but is he qualified? Simply being a former player doesn't make one cut out to coach. [/quote]

Not sure if serious. Dude's a 4x NFL pro-bowler with 2 rings. I think he's qualified to coach CFB.

Don't mess up a good (great) thing and move Bmac. He needs to stay at RB imo.

Knowing how personable and likeable he is, combined with his NFL pedigree, he would kill it on the recruiting trail. And as much passion as he has for the game, I'm sure he'd be a great coach.

But he's not coming here. he has a very cushy and well paying analyst gig right now and, while he wants to coach one day, it's been reported that he's very leery of coaching at the collegiate level because of how time-consuming it is. It is literally a 24/7 job.

just so long as we don't move Eason back there with his tennis ball machine I think we'll be fine.

To me it depends on who we can get to replace Ball.

If we could get a great recruiter I wouldn't mind making that move.

Coaching RBs is not like rocket science. Press the hole and make your cut. Get your feet square and block.

Let him coach WRs, he's played the position.

For him to advance in his career he'll have to do more than coach RBs.

LOL, how does any of that translate into a job of actually coaching and recruiting? Seriously, so anyone that has played video games their whole life is qualified to design video games. Two entirely different skill sets. Now his background would certainly increase his learning curve. But, do we take a chance running a high level program hoping the guy develops into a great coach? You think someone who has had his arse kissed his entire life is able to turn the tables on 15-18 year olds? I prefer to have experienced hires come into UGA, not hoping he can develop. If he wants to become a program coordinator or QC and earn his shot then that's how it works.

If one graduates high school with the highest possible honors, does that make them a good teacher?

I didn't really think he would. I was just responding to those who were questioning his potential effectiveness as a coach or a recruiter.
