I personally know one of Davis' teachers at Meridian High. She asked him straight up what was going on. He told her it was all a bunch of bs and if he was qualified academically he would be signing with Bama on signing day

There is more than next year that we need recruits for. I want every damn one of them and I bet Saban does as well.
It's great we brought back those potential early enrolls, but they aren't staying forever.
I want the 25 best recruits every year, but I'm not gonna say we "need" them. I like the "we'll win with or without you" mindset. Come be apart of history, or get beat by it. It doesn't matter which.

Explosive kid, great feet and vision. Fast and not just because of his competition; he literally almost runs out of the camera.
If he hit the camp circuits hard he would no doubt be a top RB. He looks better than damn near all of them to be honest.
I like him, my fear however is losing Najee Harris. I don't want to lose him (although I know the probability is high).

It cracks me up when someone makes a vague post like that to boost their internet credibility. We have 100 guys on campus and it's very close to signing day...I bet more than one probably committed. That's going out on a limb
