Jamarcus Russell, LSU
Johnny Manziel, aTm
Tim Tebow, Florida
Rex Grossman, Florida
Jay Cutler, Vanderbilt
Heath Shuler, Tennessee
Tm Couch, Kentucky
Other
Obvious answer is Russell, but please answer assuming draft position and salary were equal.... This is based solely on body of work, team chemistry, distraction, etc.

The answer is Russell, and you obviously know it. Not sure what the point of this thread is beyond flaming aTm and UF fans.

Russell. All day every day.

One of those is still on an active roster, and only played in 2 games.

Manziel also single-handedly destroyed a once-promising team... Notice the distinction between an established team and promising team.
A least the Raiders were always terrible.

It may end up being the only two he will ever play

Is Cutler on this list?

I considered Grossman, but he did manage to stay in the league for 9 seasons.
Also considered Cutler, but he did come out of Vandy and is currently making $17 million. I wouldn't call that a disappointment.

Well, he had a few semi-decent years, and also made the Super Bowl (although his 2nd half of that season was terrible).

True. Wasn't thinking of salary. What did Russell make on his rookie salary?

$32 million guaranteed.

Holy frick. That's way too much money. I'm not sure I'd pay anyone in the NFL that much.

What a stupid fricking thread. Obviously Russell. Less ruined his drive and work ethic.

Grossman was bad, but he shouldn't be lumped in with the Russells of the world.
