They must be part of the future SEC North pod, I guess.

This sad thing had nothing to do with football. This was a criminal case from day one.

This is not the right board but anyway.
People deserved prison (hell probably to just be shot) for what happened at Penn State, but I have yet to see how anything that happened there violated NCAA rules.

NCAA goes after Penn State on a criminal matter, and ignores the UNC academic scandal.

At least they got punished. And what they got punished for isn't even under the NCAA's jurisdiction.
UNC is gonna avoid any restrictions when they deserve the death penalty.

making observation does not = "angry" but I understand your confusion, because you are stupid.

no, that's incorrect, an NCAA sanctioned University has an obligation to provide a safe atmosphere for students, and that includes children, so yes, it was an institutional failure and cover up. Being related to the football dept, was somewhat inconsequential, it was related to sports and that's what matters. Being an NCAA matter does not mean it was not ALSO a criminal matter, they are not mutually exclusive.

Stop bringing attention to it, we're not supposed to talk about it.

is there really any reason to take the NCAA and it's rules seriously any more?

You are dead wrong. The NCAA, which stands for National Collegiate Athletic Association, is set up to make sure the schools it is in charge of play by the rules........academically and competitively. Again, and for the last time, this was a criminal matter. Why the frick do you think the NCAA has back pedaled on every one of their sanctions?

UF is good at basketball so the NCAA gives the Gators a free pass.

lol, you are incredibly stupid so I'm sure it's a waste of time explaining this because a turd like you will sink with a ship rather than save yourself. There are clear bylaws and rules in the NCAA charter that state why a member has an obligation to provide a "safe" atmosphere for the students, and harboring a pedophile most definitely violates that rule, perhaps you like the idea of protection for pedophiles,, who knows. Once again an NCAA violation in no way is mutually exclusive from being a criminal act. If a coach were to cover up the fact that a player was a murderer the fact that it was criminal would not prevent it from being the same kind of violation. This is as clear as day to anyone with an ounce of sense. To argue against it makes you look like a complete retard.

NCAA found a way to extort money from Penn St., because JoPas record is their Achilles heel.
The evil genius cash grab prob netted more than just new flat screens in the NCAA conference rooms

And I think the Power 5 will say the same with their future actions.

Then why is the NCAA back pedaling on every single one of their penalties?
why did this happen?
Explain.

NCAA had no jurisdition - the pushed their weight around, PSU bent over and took it, and now the NCAA is back peddling.
