Anyone care to provide Cliff Notes on what Reuse said about Willie Allen and Shyheim?

So what is the final list of recruits that just watched this amazing performance tonight? Can't ask for a better show than that! Commit to the G!

Not sure about the whole list but Kyle Davis and Derrick Brown were both there. I would guess both will be back in a couple weeks for Bama

Demetrius Robertson, EJ Price, Antwan Jackson were all there also.
2017 Jaymest Williams, Richard lecounte, William Poole III
Those are just some of the guys I've seen mentioned being there on Twitter. Anyone have a full list?

Saw we got a CB for Grant Holloway from VA. Apparently runs a 4.26 40

quote:. So did Branden Smith, Bryan Evans and Vance Cuff. Blazing speed not a clear indicator of football talent.

Damn, a 17 year old that is faster than every NFL combine participant in the past seven years. Almost hard to believe.
Just busting your balls, BS 40 times are a pet peeve of mine, but I'm sure this kid is fast. Hope we get him!

This is real, or at least close. Olympic level track prospect.
He would run track and play football at UGA. Seems like he's deciding between that and just track at UF.

I apologize for hijacking this thread but I don't see how it could be. Check out the NFL combine results:
40 yard dash at the NFL combine
Don't get me wrong, this isn't the only kid with an inaccurate time, it happens all over the place and isn't a huge deal. Obviously he is blazing fast, I just don't think he'd beat every person who ran at the combine from 09-15. Not as a 17 year old.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound senior posted the highest long jump mark in the country for high schoolers this year at 25 feet, 8.75 inches, his 300 meter intermediate hurdles time (36.73) was good for ninth in the country, he holds the co-national record in the 55-meter hurdles (7.05) and was ranked in the top 100 in the 110 high hurdles, the high jump (7-2) and 200-meter dash (21.3).
That's how.
A lot of kids exaggerate 40 times obviously, but it also isn't uncommon for football players to get slower from their HS senior years to when they hit the combine. They add mass, get a little more muscle bound, and deal with more injuries in college.
ETA: A lot of running a good 40 is having good form. He would have a clear edge in that regard from advanced track training.

Outside of cases where players gain a great deal of weight (more than normal college ball gain) which is usually due to position changes like DB to LB, guys are definitely not slower their senior year of college ball than their senior year of high school. That is not the norm for skill position players at all.
21.3 in the 200 is absolutely blazing fast for a high schooler, but keep in mind that that time would not score a single point at most major conference track meets in college. Most years in the SEC alone there are about a dozen guys who can go under 21 in the 200. A few of them are usually football players. They go to the combine and run somewhere in the 4.32-4.36 range typically.
I'll shut up on this thread because I understand I may be a nuiscance on this subject. I'm just a bit of a track nerd so I wanted to share.
