Bama: one positive about last night

At least your streak of being favored is still in tact. Bama would have almost certainly been underdogs to Oregon had Bama pulled it off last night.
Always look at the bright side, guys. The glass is half full

It capped off a surprisingly great season in disappointing fashion.

I think I would have been happier missing the playoff and winning the conference and bowl game.

Me too. TCU style.

Bama is lucky. Oregon would drop 60 on either OSU or Bama's D. Let the BIG get embarrassed.

I'm not too sure OSU won't win against Oregon. I don't think it will be a blowout at all.

Totally agree
At least I won't be spending 1000s watching Bama get quacked

To me, everything after ten wins was icing. I did not expect us to have a good year.

Those doubting Ohio State against Oregon... Refer to last night. I myself had doubts about the Buckeyes, but they are for real. I am very excited about the game, hopefully the teams put on a good show, reminding the SEC that they still have work to do.

Neither Bama nor tOSU can/will play a poorly as FSU did.
OU didn't need help, but they got as much as they could handle.

Oregon's skill players are elite. They finally have a QB who can get them the ball. If your secondary doesnt have 1st rounds picks, it will be a long day. Don't kid yourself. Jamies is an excellent QB. And Jimbo can call a game. FSU is a better offensive team than Bama or OSU, and they folded.

One Question: Why didn't Bama keep running the ball after so many interceptions? The could have run it for 1k yards.

Yep like Auburn last year and LSU '11

"like Auburn last year"
Saban is the only coach that can take a field of NFL players (some of whom are 2nd string) and lose to lesser talent on a consistent basis.

I would rather be in Bama's situation than TCU's, honestly. They will always feel they got robbed of an NC (legitimately so) while Bama will know they had their shot and didn't come through. Sucks either way, but at least Bama got a shot.

I never doubted Ohio St. I knew they would give Bama fits. I didn't think Ohio St was going to win, but I knew Bama was going to give up yards in the secondary. That being said I don't think the natl championship is going to be close. It will do Bama a lot of good by not playing in that game. Getting blown out in the natl title can hurt a program a lot IMO.
