The entire playoff committee should be fired

All week the media has been saying Ohio state doesn't have a chance against Bama. tOSU lost to a mediocre Virginia Tech squad while TCU had a fluke loss to Baylor. The committee needs new faces. I vote mizzoukills as head of the board for starters.

Yeah, the committee thing needs to gtfo. Bring back the bcs system to pick the playoff teams. Oh and go to 8 teams.

Maybe TCU should have won their conference championship game like the other 4 teams had to.

I agree that every conference should have a championship, but for the time being please show me the rule that states teams that do not play a conference championship are automatically disqualified.

I agree on the 8 teams and using the formula instead of the committee...however, I think the mock BCS ratings based on last year's formula (using AP poll instead of Harris poll) still had the same top 4 teams.

TCU got screwed by that bunch. There is no way Ohio State is the fourth best team.

The committee was rigged, this here shows they did not know what the crap they were doing. Add BSPN in that convo also.

TCU played 12 games, Ohio State Oregon Alabama and FSU all played an extra game against big opponents. That's a huge deal. TCU was playing a cupcake while the other schools challenged themselves and improved their resume.

The other schools didn't challenge themselves. The conferences expanded and forced them to play in a championship game. I guarantee you TCU would want to play in the conference championship against Baylor. Also TCU challenged themselves by switching to the Big 12. Dumbass

I'll put this on hold until Thursday, but if Ohio State isn't competitive against Bama with its 3rd-string QB, you're right.

Or even won their conference.

They damn sure should be ashamed. They won't be.......but they should be.

But....
But they didn't?
What are you asking the committee to do, pretend TCU played Baylor again and won?

Meh, tOSU is a brand name. Though I'd love a Bama/TCU matchup.

No.
BAYLOR got screwed out of a spot. How do you include TCU but not Baylor?

You are doing the same bull shite as the previous idiots that were running the asylum. You want to point to one game instead of looking at the entire season. This entire thing was about getting the best four teams in the tourney. The committee failed horribly in their very first try.

TCU stomping a 9-3 Ole Miss team that is injury decimated and that lost to Arkansas 30-0 at home does not mean they are one of the four best teams in the country.
