Agreed. A&M has the most potential though, granted I doubt they'll ever capitalize.

wow that's so neat!

I guess I was just dreaming when Mizzou Volleyball went undefeated in the regular season and won the SEC championship. Silly me!

I don't understand. I was saying that y'all are popular. How is that "talking shite"?

Also, the fact that I went to college at Vanderbilt has no bearing whatsoever on my choice of topic or approach to discussing it. What a provincial mindset you have there.

South Carolina's ACC football championship was won nearly a decade after Missouri's last one.

Chew on that for a minute

Your last conference championship was the same year as ours.

If you want to count a championship shared by 1/4 of the league then go ahead. I'll laugh and continue to think its ridiculous though

You're lucky I'm willing to count the retroactive championship in 1960. Otherwise the last Missouri championship would have been during WWII

I'm not sure what you're talking about....

In 1969, there were only 2 teams that finished tied for champions. Missouri and Nebraska. Earlier in the season, Missouri beat Nebraska head-to-head by two scores.

In 1960, Missouri won outright. However, even if you want to take away the kansas win, Missouri would've been tied for conference champions, but with a head-to-head tie breaker once again over the "co-champion".

With the fact that Mizzou beat the "co-champion" head-to-head in 1969 (and 1960 if you choose to look at it that way) Mizzou was still the outright champion in both of those years.

Sup.

9-5 was your record when you went to the SECCG in your only appearance there in 2010. 9 and fricking 5. You were 5-3 in the SEC.

That was your finest hour in the SEC. Your only trip to Atlanta was when the East was really down.

Look cockopotmusspuss, you all historically suck. Even compared to middle of the road Mizzou. I get the anger and resentment, you just dont wear it well.

Real quick OT: I love Tre on the Rams. Love the way he runs with an edge for a nimble back. He really picked up the pass protection schemes towards the end of the year which led to him being a more every down back. Could be the sleeper pick of that draft for us.
I'm surprised how well he's doing, honestly. He became a monster in college but I was skeptical about that carrying over to the NFL. That, plus the fact that Fisher and Snead seem to be doing a pretty good job of otherwise turning St. Louis into Auburn-East, may lead me to picking up some Rams gear this offseason

eta: A lot of times I wonder what would've happened if they had bailed on STL after 2012 and come to Auburn as HC/AD... There were talks but Fisher wasn't coming without Snead and we weren't willing to fire the joke of an AD that we have.

eta2: Not that I would take anyone over Gus.

Best football addition to the conference of the four expansion schools.

Missouri was also the most successful addition to any conference in the latest round of expansion.

We're just piling up the championships here.

I love Tre too, but it's pretty hard to top the season 6th round pick EJ Gaines has had.

Started every game as a rookie and kept the FSU GOAT Lamarcus Joyner's arse firmly on the bench. #MizzouMade

The point is that Missouri is the least successful athletic department in the entire conference.

In 3 full seasons, they have zero conference or national titles

As for the Big 3 sports, Football is doing what football does. Basketball is in the cellar but riding the elevator up. Baseball is hot garbage. How long will Jamison get to ride off of Scherzer and Aaron Crow's awesome year. The St. Louis kids arent winning. Missouri State has passed us in baseball, because they recruit the better half of the state (the West)
