With improved QB play, LSU will be a playoff team next year.

i think what is more important is who stays from our oline and who goes in the draft. we need Hawkins and Alexander to stay.

True. They would have been so this year as well imo.

Improved QB play and if half the o Line doesn't leave. True
Regardless of who stays, we won't lose to State or ARKY again....or AU:)

You can't predict Les MIles football. Whatever you're expecting, the opposite will happen.

very important, but very likely a huge contender under these conditions.

im very interested to see how many jet sweep type plays we run in the bowl. we did that against a&m and was very affective. If we see that in the bowl i'd expect to see the same next year. we have to somehow make a defense second guess after the snap, even just for a split second in order to get away from this "pound ourselves into a brick wall" offense.

False. Their defense will still be terrible and they lack playmakers on offense.

edit: 8th
it was our 116th ranked passing offense that killed us.

No playmakers? Bad troll.

Good QB play could help several teams become playoff teams.

LSU went 13-0 and won the SEC Title with Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson at QB in 2011 ( I know that is a long time ago in message board years).
I hope that answers your question.

True but not everyone has the skilled position studs and dominate defense next year. Next year LSU, Auburn and Bama will have top five teams.

I think LSU will be a playoff team, but not because of their QB play (though I could see it being Jarret Lee 2011-esque..), because of their defense and the running game once again. They return a ogod bit of experience and have a favorable schedule with home games against A&M, Auburn, Florida, and Arkansas. On top of that, their OOC schedule is McNee State, @ Syracuse, and Western Kentucky. The biggest game of course is @'Bama once again.

That is a pretty big "if" and I doubt there will be enough improvement. Could be a ranked team with 9 or 10 wins max. Good defense and have some talent at the skill spots.
Ole Miss should be strong on defense. Arkansas returns a ton of starters. Miss. State will take a big step back. Auburn will be good on offense like normal and Alabama is Alabama.
