Strong at The University of Texas has sent one QB to the NFL in his brief HC career, Bridgewater is doing alright starting for the Vikings.
Patterson at TCU prepared Andy Dalton to start for the Bengals for several years now.
Bryles at Baylor gave Washington a great QB pre-injury to the Redskins.
Sumlin set up Keenum and JFF to fail by not teaching them how to learn a playbook, read defense, call audibles, take snaps from center, etc.
So if you were a QB prospect* from Texas who had interest from the typical programs that rely on Texas recruits, like the Texas schools and OU, where would you go/send your kid if they wanted to some day have a career in the NFL?
*Its already known the elite Texas QBs end up at elite schools outside of those who rely on Texas for recruits like Bama, UGA, FSU, etc.

He appears to have put a lot of effort into this one though. Let's at least humor him.

He was not a great QB, he was a great athlete.

Just not a fan of Texas. Some of you Aggies are okay (not many, but some). You can break a piece off of East Texas and stay with the rest of us.

Lets look at the current Texas HS starting QB:
Tannehill (A&M, Miami)
Manziel (A&M, Cleveland)
Griffin (Baylor, Washington)
Stafford (Georgia, Detroit)
Luck (Stanford, Indianapolis)
McCown (Sam Houston, Tampa)
Brees (Purdue, New Orleans)
Foles (Arizona, Philadelphia)
Dalton (TCU, Cincinnati)
Only see one college with 2 names on that list...

How many other states in the SEC have QBs starting in the NFL?
