The difference of course is with OCs, AJ would likely have put up some big numbers under Kiffin, but i dont think we would have been as successful this year with aj as we were with sims, because aj would have been sacked about 20-30 times, and cant move the chains with his feet (although he did a time or two in his career)

Holy hypothetical Batman.

20 or 30 times? Last year AJ had 10 sacks. So, he would double or triple that this year?

I would argue that we would have been a better team if AJ was granted a magical fifth year of eligibility. We certainly wouldn't have lost to Ole Miss, but that's just my opinion, but I'm not going to throw out crazy projections like AJ would triple his sack numbers in one year.

People forget how good AJ was, and the fact that he is quite possibly the best QB to ever play at Alabama when it comes to manipulating the pocket and extending the amount of time he has to throw the ball.

absolutely, especially earlier in the year, blake got out of so many sacks with his shiftiness. aj would have just been standing there.

Yea. No way in hell we lose to Ole Miss with AJ, also if he were still the QB the LSU and Arkansas games would not have been close. The newest is always the best with some people, but IMO Blake is not AJ. Just not as consistent.
