I don't want to see Les go to Michigan. He is great for SEC football, a good coach, and a good guy. Stay in the South, Les! You're one of us now.

Well, Miles and Spurrier certainly add a good bit of humor to the coaching circle here. I personally hope ol' grass shake doesn't leave either. He's too much fun, and the Alabama-LSU series has been pretty epic.

Of course Bama fans want him to stay at LSU. He's a grass-eating moron whose team has choked away wins against y'all in 2 of the last 3 meetings.

Honestly I think most of us just like him. He's a straight shooter, he's fun, he's not an arse. He's a fun guy to compete against.

strongly disagree. from my blue collar friends to my talks with a couple of lsu's largest booster circles including mr. richard (talked to him at reds), speaking to jaime and my good friend ben back in lockport (all on taf board)(richard being lsu's past chairman) there's a large percentage of our fanbase and LSU's biggest boosters feeling as though it's about that time for a change.

Maybe other fan bases recognize a good coach, and some of our fans are just idiots, who know shite about football. Les is good for LSU and for the SEC.

the truth is, most LSU fans don't won't him gone. I work with several dozen LSU fanatics and only a couple of them are anti-Les and they have been since the night his hurricane worn boys lost a Monday night game make up game to Tennessee. Ridiculous. It seems like more because of message board fodder but the truth there is that the vast majority of College Football Fans don't partake in message boards.

Seriously though, independent of him winning or not I just like him as a guy. Not saying I'd want him coaching my team but I like having him around.
