Brutal schedule this year

When we play Missouri that will be 6 teams that were ranked when we played them (7 teams thast were ranked at some point in the season with WV), and 5 that will finish the season in the top 25. Sagarin has our schedule at 4, with only teams that played us above us (not playing ourselves always is a knock on our schedule
). Assuming we beat missouri, 1 loss through all of that is pretty remarkable, especially with all the injuries we have sustained to key players.

But, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, Bama only wins with weak schedules!!!!

If we dont lose drake, I feel like none of our games would have even been close (including the ole miss game) and we would be talking about this team as one of the all time greats. He was very important to what we wanted to do this year

Next year will be worse with all the bye weeks for SEC games

Its truly been an amazing season.
We knew that it was going to be a gauntlet, and our players fought through. Roll Tide.

One of CNS's best coaching jobs IMO. Managing 11-1 against a tough schedule without a really elite D, dominant running game, or experienced QB

If UA somehow makes it to the Natty game, this will have been Saban's best coaching job to date.

Imagine if we blowout Mizzou, and both playoff opponents.

LSU guy here and I agree.
A lot of it has to do with Lane. I knew he'd do a good job, he didn't get all those HC positions being an idiot. Him being able to focus on the offense has allowed him to really have that side of the ball playing excellent football. Doesn't hurt having an Amare Cooper out there either.
I hate to admit it, but you guys did a fantastic job this year facing a challenging schedule.

Looking back, I think losing relatively early at ole miss was a good thing.

Certainly better than losing late.
The schedule did at least fall nicely enough to give you some easier games to figure things out after Ole Miss before you hit the meat of @LSU, Moo Moo, and that Cow College in extreme western Georgia (am I doing it right?).

This is my favorite Bama team I've ever watched. To see them improve so much over the course of the season and overcome so much adversity. Great stuff.
