Even without our starting quarterback, Arkansas favored against Mizzou

Gotta say I'm surprised at Arkansas being picked as the favorites with Brandon Allen's status still up in the air.

Our Air Raid offense will definitely suffer if he can't go.

cuz your quarterback DOES NOT MATTER

Is this a serious post? Brandon Allen sucks arse. Him playing shouldn't have a huge effect on the outcome.

I bet you wouldn't be saying that if our QB was Bo Wallace.

I'm pretty sure we're leading the conference in 3rd down conversion percentage, so yeah he's kind of a big deal.

Brandon is the best Allen QB in the SEC

gimmick/system offense, QB doesn't matter. Any warm body will do

Arkansas' QB very much matters. If they have somebody who can't make quick decisions in play-action then they are in trouble. Unless the other team just cannot stop them at the point of attack.

Ask, South Carolina, Florida, A&M, and Tenn, how being favored worked out for them.

Pretty sure Mizzou was predicted to lose in every single SEC game this year except for Vandy and maybe Kentucky.

I see that as a potentiaL problem. Generally, if the second stringer was better he'd have been playing. Of course, TN, A&M and FL coaches all missed the boat in their QB evaluations at the beginning of the year.

Except all of those teams were playing Mizzou at home...

Tretola could possibly step in if need be...he has a pretty decent Passer rating.
But I still don't understand why anyone would think we have a "gadget" offense. We play smash mouth football.

Arkansas being picked as the favorites

I should clarify, Arkansas wasn't picked as the favorite. The game opened as a pick 'em and the line has moved to Arkansas - 1.5

If Brandon Allen doesn't play, Arkansas will lose.

That's definitely a possibility.
