Tunsil less than 100% will have his work cut out for him with flowers. If tunsil doesn't play, flowers will eat the backup's lunch all day. Flowers is the real deal

We have Jarran Reed and Jon Allen

Tunsil at 90% is more than enough to get the job done. He's the best left tackle in college football.
Also, you may know more about this but who thought it was smart/clever to nickname him "Big Softie"?

Like he said, not Flowers and Philon.

Somehow I doubt Tunsil with a pulled bicep or whatever it's classified as is at 90%.
On big softie... We put it to a vote and it won

You do realize how dumb that sounds, right? He's not fat (by offensive line standards) and insinuating that he's a pussy is ludicrous.

Defense is very good. Offense lacks in all areas other than rushing. Will give Ole Miss fits also.

Their style of play on offense also has a lot to do with that.
As it was when Petrino was here.
Thanks for noticing OP! Our defensive improvement has really been our best story all year, so it's odd that it's received so little attention. In contrast, our 2010 team was 36th in the nation in Total Defense and the media couldn't stop talking about how bad it was.

Pretty sure "softie" is related to his injury frequency not his eating

I'm more worried about OM's WRs being able to get one on ones with our safeties than I am Flowers and Philon beating whoever lines up in front of them.
The weakness of our D is the safeties, if you can challenge them you will win those plays and put up a lot of points.

I think the 2nd half against UGA really changed their team. They came out fighting and never gave up. They did get down big early, but fought back and made the score look respectable. Chubb, in only his 2nd career start, (still battling a broken thumb) did run for more yards against them than they've given up the entire year. They're improving and that's all you can ask for from you program.

Does Gaines have to sit out the first half of the OM game?

If he was the one ejected for targeting then yes

It would be better for OM if he doesn't.

How are they going to be so much better if they don't have a better QB to replace Allen and loose some of their best players on D next year?
It's "lose"
And we return 9 starters on defense, so we're not exactly hurting in attrition.

8. We lose Flowers, Spaight and Turner. Although Liddell should make a more than capable replacement for Turner.
17 of the 22 on the two deep will be back as well.

Spaight Flowers & Mitchel are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. Spaight wasn't that impressive last year but I think Randy Shannon is just that good with LBs so I'm not too worried about it. Flowers Will be a big loss but Wise should step up into his position pretty well..
Mitchel is a Nickle/backup so not really a loss other than depth.
Eta: Forgot Turner, but he isn't really a player I pay attention to unless he fks up...

I actually expect arkansas to be what we've been this year. I think they'll finish this year with 3 straight sec wins and a bowl win

Their rushing offense isn't that good really.
They slow down games and try to turn them into intentional derp fests.
Their defense is ok.
