You better respect the soon to be majority leader of the senate.

Nick, your smack is some weak arse shite. Kind of like your prediction of Devin Booker.

Has anyone ever stormed the court against Mizzou? I would be surprised if they had.

Yeah, I just can't generate any hate for UK so I'll just leave it with this.

I would say this thread will be bumped later, but there has been almost talk of the game....

Well, here you go. Marcus Murphy will take advantage of that shoddy ST play. Tigers run for 250+. Brantley, Ray, Golden and co finna eat.

Tigers win 27-13

FWIW, just looked at both on Winsipedia

Kentucky

Missouri

Neither has
A heisman winner
A Top 25 metric of note (UK @ 25 for bowl win %, MU @ 27 for bowl games played)
15+ All Americans
20+ First round draft picks
250+ NFL draft picks
5+ SEC championships
700+ all time wins

Hooray for mediocracy in football!

Mizzou and Kentucky are not peers in football historically.

Looks like neither are top quartile and neither are Top 10 elite. On the other side of the bell curve, neither are rock bottom. Both are solid middle and to think either are great needs to stop drinking now.

Kentucky has a .496 winning percentage and 15 bowl games and under 600 wins and only 2 conference championships in its history.

Mizzou is sitting at .547, 30 bowls, 650 wins and 15 conference championships.

Mizzou is an average program. Kentucky is pretty bad, Historically speaking of course.

I respect Kentucky fans here but your BS spin needs to be called out. In no way are Kentucky and Mizzou "close" historically. One is average to slightly above average and the other is not very good.

2-2 so far, but Hogs might get jealous

They have the Wal Wart Cart Trophy thing and that would be pretty hard to beat.

You are the only one that said anything about great. Historically speaking, Mizzou is roughly average. Kentucky is well below.

These are just facts.

SEC championships are like 5 Championships in any other conference
(winning the east is not winning the SEC BTW)
MU's 15
- 3 in WUFA in 1800's
- 6 in Big 8 before 1933 (SEC 1st season)
- 4 in Big 8 during World War II years
= 2 1960 and 1969 under Dan Devine
UK's 2
= 2 in 1950 with Bear Bryant and 1976 with Fran Curci

Basically Missouri and Kentucky have 2, that would prove my point
MU's (2) in 1960 and 1969, both under Dan Devine
UK's (2) in 1950 with Bear Bryant and 1976 with Fran Curci

As to bowls that might mean something
UK = 2-1 66.67% wins
Orange L
Sugar W
Cotton W

MU 4-5, respectable, but not being in SEC means easier to get in good bowls
Orange L beaten by SEC (GT)
Sugar L beaten by Fordham
Cotton L
Orange L beaten by SEC (UGA)
Orange W beat Navy
Sugar W beat SEC (UF)
Orange L
Cotton W beat SEC (Hogs)
Cotton W as SEC (congrats on defending your new home)

MU .547 and 650 wins
UK .496 and 586 wins
Granted MU has added wins and a slightly better all time percentage but that is more than balanced by the arse pounding UK suffered as a member of the SEC as a charter member. Again, neither is impressive and both are about dead center on the standard bell curve, yet again proving my point.

Mizzou conference history
1890 - 1927 IND, WIUFA, and MVC - not exactly tough competition here
1928 - 1995 Big 8 - basically 2 football schools in Oklahoma and Nebraska
1996 - 2011 Big 12 - basically 3 footballs schools and a yearly floater
2012 - 2xxx SEC - finally playing in a real football conference and not lots and lots of pussy wins
