About par for their preseason expectations, though I could see them mailing it in after losing to AU and shitting the bed against Arky as well and finishing 8-4.
AU is a bad matchup for them, and OM is banged up after a tough loss to LSU.
State will beat them as well as our front 7 will demolish Bo forcing him to have a bad game and Dak and Co. will put up their usual 28-42 points.

That's how I'd characterize it.

10-2.
They wax Auburn's arse.
But State is destiny.

They have an Offense.

FWIW, last year I think we had around 7 starters out due to injury the week after we lost to A&M on a last second field goal. The very next week we beat number 6 LSU. Freeze's teams typically bounce back well after losses

Your team is somehow No. 1. Maybe you should pay more attention to that than us. Please don't turn this board into ED.

They have an offense that will spread your defense out, similar to State's offense. LSU exposed your weakness and they will run Marshall and Artis Payne right at you and still have a formidible passing game to go to when you stack the box.
They have a decent enough defense to stop your one dimensional offense

When you're number one and perfect there's nothing to discuss. However we can still talk about and look down upon those who are beneath us

LSU matched up with is well because they had a big physical offensive line that was built to run it down your throat. Auburn runs it outside of the tackles more times than not and with our defensive ends and linebackers, that's our strength.
A&M tried to spread us out and it didn't work well for them.

This post just cursed Dak. Why did you do that to the poor man?

I'm going to laugh so hard when Alabama and ole miss put an end to tGrind
A 1 loss MS State SECW runner up has ZERO chance at an NCAA playoff berth.
Cross division = Vandy & Kentucky - OOC is a joke.
MS State has THREE very losable games left in the regular season.

Do you guys think State will have positive rushing yards against Ole Miss?

And we have a defense that hasn't given up more than 20 points in 10 games and has only given up 7 touchdowns this season.

I thought someone posted stats that Freeze has a pretty bad record after a loss...despite HenryJones' claims.
I think Ole Miss loses to Auburn for two reasons:
(1) Auburn is better; and
(2) Ole miss is mentally and physically broken.
I think that the Arkansas game is Ole Miss' to lose. I think that State is just a bad match-up for Ole Miss is the same way that LSU was...but more so because MSU can throw in addition to having a power run game and huge defensive front 7.
I think 9-3 is the right answer for Ole Miss - which is better than they thought before the season for the most part.
**Sidenote: I think it is glorious that LSU knocked Oxford out of hosting Gameday for the second time this year (and program history). Big loss this past weekend.

Again, we had 7 starters out injured last year after we had a devastating loss to A&M last year. We were in MUCH worse shape than we are right now. But we bounced back and beat a top ten team the very next week. If you think we're broken then you don't know much about Freeze and his teams.

A&M doesn't have a good running game and are a pass heavy offense. Auburn is way more balanced and is by far the best offense you will have faced this year
Bama would have beaten you if they hadn't abandoned the run game.
