Revisiting pre-season predictions

In light of Saturday's melt, I thought it would be enlightening to see how far off we were back in August in terms of our expectations for 2014:
Official Posibarner* Prediction Thread
Consensus had us at either 7-0 or 6-1 at this point, although only AubieSpr96 correctly predicted all 7 contests thus far. I was expecting 5-2, so we are ahead of the game as far as I am concerned.
Unfortunately I see 2 more losses on our schedule. Still think we handle TAMU (although it won't be nearly as easy as I thought it would be four days ago), sleepwalk through Samford, and take one of the three road games against top 10 teams, putting us on track to finish with the 9-3 regular season mark I predicted.
It's interesting, although there was a lot of optimism back before the Arky game, I think the relative ease with which we destroyed the Corndogs ramped it up to near-Bama level delusions. The last two contests should have brought everyone back to the reality that we're a very good, but hardly championship-caliber team this year.
Thoughts?

I wasn't in that thread, I think I said somewhere that we'd have 2 losses though

I didn't think we would but 3 games all year so we are way ahead of where I thought we would be.
I honestly thought we would have lost one so far but thought it would be LSU, with their track record I thought they would get up for the game.

Thought we would still be undefeated. Only chance of losing one was either UGA or UAT ....but not both.
For Auburn:
I thought Nick would be a much better passer this year and he is not.
I thought Sammie and Duke were gonna be All American SI cover receivers by mid season....nope.
I thought the defensive line was gonna dominate and create havoc in the backfield and they have not.
Thought Ole Miss and Ms State would do what they both always do (All hat-no cattle) preseason this IS really the year.....bla bla bla
Figured LSU and ARKY to struggle and aTm and bama to be our biggest comp in the west.
I don't think they lose again in season but I don't think MSU loses either.
Finish season 12-1 and get left out. Orange bowl bound

I'm an optimist, but I think we drop the game this weekend. Going into the season, I said the two road trips to the Mississippi schools scared me the most. I didn't think State would be as good as they've turned out to be, but I still think we gave that game away.
Not sure what Wallace will look like this weekend, but OM's D is legit. Our offense will have to play the best game of the season to win.

Based on their board and the OM media folks I follow on Twitter, all those day-today folks will be back.
The biggest loss for them will be if Prewitt is out.
