What do you think Gator fans?

I'd love it. Hope it happens if boom leaves.

What has he done at Nebraska to earn a promotion?

He reminds of of Mark Richt 2.0. Good coach not great that cannot win a national championship regardless of recruiting.

Florida could do worse. The guy is a reliable 8-4 every year

Horrible, and his personality would not transfer well with their fan base IMO.

Carl Pelini. Lock.

with an even worse recruiting base.
Double edged sword there. He had some dynamite defenses when he had talent at LSU and Nebraska's offenses seem to do well.
ETA:
I still think UF could do WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better.

They need another defense minded coach. I get nervous when Florida has an offensive guru for a coach.

he's not a bad coach but no thanks he loses way too many big games
did beat uga tho in that bowl game

But I thought the East was the equivalent of the MAC?

Chizik is going to get this job.

I guess no Florida fans even think this thread is worth commenting on haha.

An 8-4ish HC in Nebraska, where the only things to do are shucking corn and college football, would translate to a 6-6ish HC at Florida, where there is plenty to do in addition to college football.
Pelini's style is similar to Muschamp's, minus Muschamp's ability to recruit at a high level, IMO.
With that said, I'd be ecstatic if they hired Pelini.

Come on Gators. When he gets to Florida and gets a little sun he will be a new man.
