My thoughts and prayers are for this guy. That was a bad injury. Has anyone heard how he is doing?

I really hate that and no matter the opponent don't want to see anyone get hurt.

He was such a huge X factor in last year's game for Bama... Everyone focuses on the Yeldon run where he juked Cody so badly but it was Drake's long TD run that put that game away.

You could tell Bama's entire team was negatively affected by what happened to their teammate... I was sitting on the 30th row and I swear you could hear the screams from there.

Thoughts go out to the kid... So sad.

I think it was a factor in the quality of their play and mental errors, not to say that Ole Miss being good didn't have a lot to do with it.

Lot a rumors and posts on Bama sites...word is this was like a dagger through the heart for the team. shite got real when they saw what happened...Drake was a big factor in the game plan and one of the most vocal leaders. Not making excuses or taking anything from Ole Miss...but this was huge and definetely effected the team.

He had surgery today I think.

The real news is what has Freezus had to say about the OM tPOS who kicked him when he was down.
Elston Kicking Drake

Dirty plays are nothing new for number 7.

if drake's injury had that big a negative effect on bama's gameplan, then we had no chance to win ... we have too much talent on offense to let 1 injured skill player derail a gameplan ... the injury to kelly was much bigger, though it still wasn't the reason howard dropped passes, sims threw into double coverage, etc ...
as far as the injury, it sucks ... guy has a lot of talent and was kind of finding himself a bit, i think ... flat out sucks ...

So stupid, watch the film and not a random screen shot from a troll article. You're like that great aunt who shares Facebook posts about aliens and Muslims taking over Dauphin Island without researching or even thinking about it first.

Elston should be suspended, I'm sure he didn't know the extent of the injury. The other OM players that actually saw it had the same reactions as most of us would, or at least I hope. Even the TV guys didn't notice it till the replays.

Hope everything goes well for Kenyan.

I'd be pretty surprised if a saban coached team, or any group of collegiate athletes, was that mentally weak.

What about a Saban coached team with Lane Kiffin in the offensive huddle ?

Let that marinate for a couple minutes

This is great. I have to hide morons on my newsfeed as a result of these all the time. The Obama ones are the best.
However, as an alabama fan, this didn't even look intentional. Hope drake has a speedy recovery. Seems like a good kid with a bright career ahead of him.

100%, from all accounts he was a great kid with a bright future. I get nauseated every time I think about it. I wish nothing but the best for him.
