Or would he be destined for the practice squad or wait...maybe long snapper.

Gurley
Chubb
Michel
Douglas
Marshall (67.3% healthy)
Fournette?

Does Gurley make it through the year without a knee injury?

If a UGA fan is thinking about Fournette on a Sunday evening, then he must be one of the top backs in the SEC.

and for the guy with the knee injury comment. GFY

Yes. He would get as many snaps as Chubb and Michel. That's my honest answer.

Fournette has been a huge disappointment, at least when you look at all the hype around him being the best back since Adrian Peterson.

However, I think he is in the mix with Chubb & Michel. The three would share the carries after Gurley.

IMO he is not good enough. All of Georgia's backs are amazing. Michel is a it small, but fast as hell. Nope, I just don't see fournette playing ahead of any of them.

There are probably a few schools where he doesn't make it on the field.

Georgia second leading rusher has 223 yards for the season.. LF almost has more rushing yards for the season than Georgia's 2nd and 3rd leading rushers combined!!!! I am reporting you to admin for this dumb arse thread!!!!!

If he can throw the ball semi-accurately over 10 yards...he starts at QB for us

I thought he can get through a hole very fast; needs a hole to get through, of course; & needs to run north/South.

Nope. He wouldn't start for any other SEC team. Why do you think he was an LSU lock?

In fairness to Fournette, none of UGA's backs would look as good behind LSU's run blocking this year. Fournette is routinely hit in thebackfield because of missed blocks.

He started to look pretty good last night after Harris made the D respect the pass.

BTW, despite all his early season struggles, he is still averaging 6 yards a carry.
