MSU is a one man team. Dak is going to get blown up before all is said and done.

Dak's passing stats through three games are nearly identical to JFF
Dak Prescott - 4 games into 2014
Passing: 58-96-2, 964 yards, 11 TD
Rushing: 62 carries, 378 yards, 3 TD
Johnny Manziel - 4 games into 2012
Passing: 87-124-0, 1094 yards, 10 TD
Rushing: 52 carries, 366 yards, 6 TD
Close, but not quite.
Passing yards: Advantage Manziel
Passing TD: Advantage Prescott
Completion %: Advantage Manziel
Interceptions: Advantage Manziel
Rushing yards: Advantage Prescott
Yards per carry: Advantage Manziel
Rushing TD: Advantage Manziel

Dak was alternating playing time with the 2nd team quarterback for the first two games this year.
Here are the stats had he played as a true starter:
Passing yards: Advantage Prescott
Passing TD: Advantage Prescott
Completion %: Advantage Prescott
Interceptions: Advantage Prescott
Rushing yards: Advantage Prescott
Yards per carry: Advantage Prescott
Rushing TD: Advantage Prescott

The only thing JFF and Dakota have in common at this point is an SEC upset. Neither has won, or will win anything of substance in this league

Manziel didn't play the entire 3rd quarter of the SMU game or the entire second half of the South Carolina State game. Your argument fails.
And you can't possibly put "Advantage Prescott" for interceptions when he's thrown 2 and Manziel didn't throw a single one in his first four games.

Your secondary is dogshit. U will lose to anyone that can throw the ball. Which means A&M will beat u like a drum as will Auburn and Ole Miss for sure. U can match up with Arky and Bama maybe.

Missed you in the Auburn/KSU game thread Garrison. Glad to know you're alright.
Why would he be there? LSU wasn't playing that night.

Here's why you should believe the hype...
Judging from the game saturday I'd say MSU's only weak spot is the secondary... That being said we were without starting safety Justin Cox and to be completely honest even though they arent the best asset to our defense they are most definitely an above average secondary. Our O-Line and D-Line both looked solid (especially D). We have plenty of quality receivers and two play makers out wide in DeRunnya and Lewis. Josh Robinson is looking like a very solid yard gainer that actually enjoys being somewhat of a workhorse. and of course Dak is Dak.
With all that being said, I am not jumping on the "sec championship bound" bandwagon like some state fans. However, I am beginning to become sick of people saying that state is not for real. Yes this LSU looked weaker than what they have in recent years but It is still an Les Miles coached team, in death valley at night and it shows ignorance for anyone who says State's win saturday wasn't impressive.

We might have the best run defense in the conference, you're retarded if you don't think that'll cause major problems for AU, Arky, etc.

Will State win a championship? I am skeptical. However, I think they have a chance to win 9, 10, or 11 games if you include a bowl game. That is a fantastic season by their usual standards
