I'm glad Auburn is not buying the hype. LSU didn't buy it either.

Les Miles was nothing but complimentary of MSU before the game.

We've also spend 3/4 of our games thusfar without our starting free safety. Cox was ruled out just before the start of the LSU game and will most likely be back for aTm...

Your fans weren't though.

And BTW, all coaches do that no matter who they're playing.

Most of their fans thought they'd blow us out. None of them expected that arse whipping.

Because the fans' opinions matter so much when it comes to the outcome.

Yes, Auburn fans are underestimating MSU. That is why MSU will beat Auburn.

See? That makes no sense.

I don't think Auburn can stop us to be honest. We only lose if Merlins shuts down like last year after having a small lead. The Gusbus is going to be in flames by the 3rd.

MSU deserves credit for what they did in Death Valley. I'm going to give it to them.

I'm not buying the hype because someone -- probably OM or Bama -- will bottle them up and force Dak to beat them with his arm. And he won't. MSU can't rely on their defense to shut down any of their remaining SEC-W opponents, not even Arkansas.

You were the guy who threw his shite on the field at the OM Vandy game right? It's ok man have a

I'm like, if I valued a Vandy fan's opinion about this I would have called my mutual fund advisor, our CEO or the cardiologist at work.

Wow..... Y'all win one conference road and then the defending SEC champs are defeated by the 3rd quarter? Nice.

Man MSU probably is one of the strongest teams in the sec west across both lines. They will be a tough win for anyone.

Lulz, I didn't read that post. I give their football team credit, but their fans are laughable.

These posts about Dak remind me of the same shite idiots said about Cam until the Iron Bowl. Dak's passing stats through three games are nearly identical to JFF, Tebow, and Cam's.

I was resting comfortably in my living room in North Carolina, sorry to say.

Just offering my opinion on why I'm not buying the hype yet. I didn't buy it a couple years ago, either, when Bama put y'all decisively into your place. Don't get me wrong -- y'all played very well against LSU, even if you tried to Miles your way to a loss toward the end. You deserved that win by simply beating LSU down. But Mullens, whom I'll always respect, simply isn't a big-time coach. He's a very good middle-of-the-road coach, capable of fielding teams that will always be solid and give opponents a fight. But Mississippi State's day in the sun isn't nearly enough evidence that they're going to replicate such a thing on a regular basis. They were just due a game where the pieces clicked and the otherwise reliable but unspectacular team managed to punish a ostensibly-better opponent for not adjusting. I've always known that people can't overlook a Mullens-coached team; that's not the same as saying I'm going to buy into the hype about a Mullens-coached team after one upset. Bookmark this thread, win your next two, bump, and I'll be perfectly willing to accept that I should buy the hype.

Yes, because the university I attended has any bearing on my grasp of football. Some of us attend college for other reasons. You do get that, right? It does have a bearing on my grasp of logical fallacies, though.

(Incidentally, I checked the all-time wins records:

Vanderbilt: 583-585-50
MSU: 526-555-39

Catch up and y'all can talk trash )

Yea it sure is nice. I said from the end of last season 9-3 or 10-2 depending on eggbowl this year with wins against LSU and Auburn. Don't take it personal man it's just a football game

State is my 2nd SEC team. My neighbors are grads and we always watch the games with them. I'm gonna have to stop reading these shitty threads so I don't start hating them.

Your secondary is dogshit. U will lose to anyone that can throw the ball. Which means A&M will beat u like a drum as will Auburn and Ole Miss for sure. U can match up with Arky and Bama maybe.
