Where is Uzomah in this year's offense?

They tried to go to him on the last scoring drive Thursday. Same play as miss st last years game winner. It's still early and nick is feeling out the passing game at this point Hopefully he will get more involved as the season progresses.

Only had 11 catches all season last year. Those 3 catches against moo st were the only catches he had until the Tennessee game.

He's been open plenty. Nick has missed some throws and not looked his way some.

We've never thrown to the right end much. I wish we utilized him more.

1) We don't throw to TEs much in Gus' system at all. Usually only in the red zone.
2) Uzomah is more of a pass-catching TE than Fulse is, but Uzomah is really being used as a jack-of-all-trades rather than a pure pass-catching TE.

Nick doesn't go through his progressions. He locks on to the #1 guy and slings it. I have seen him check down to the running back 3 or 4 times this year which is great, but he doesn't go through his route tree.
Not sure how much of that is on Nick and how much of it is on the coaches telling him "throw it to Duke on this play" or "throw it to sammie on this play"
If he does hit Uzomah you can put money on Uzomah was the #1 read on the play.
