They of course underrated Auburn all last season. So maybe it doesn't have much value.

Time will tell if A&M is really a top team but based on what we've seen so far there's no way you can say they don't deserve a top 5 ranking.

It IS absolutely laughable that we got a 1st place vote. But I don't think we are vastly overrated.
I'd need to see a little more about his process of ranking the top 10 based on Vegas other than the vague context that was given.

Vegas of course makes their lines based on what they think public perception is, moreso than they base it on what they actually think it is in order to promote equal betting on both sides.

Baylor beats the worst team in FBS SMU and Northwestern State and they aren't overrated at 7?
Yet A&M is overrated behind them even though they beat a team far better than Baylor has played so far?
