I know this is old-ish news, but how does this affect public perception on whose fault it is that the lone star showdown hasn't been resumed?

They've said they have no room for us for 10+ years, then schedule Michigan? lol

Can you imagine a more annoying game to attend?

That game might end up being the most hyped pillow fight ever. Two top 5-10 all-time programs both at or near historic lows.

It is old? First I've heard of it.

I guess Michigan needed a new arrogant partner now that Notre Dame is no longer on the schedule.

Riding them all the way to the bottom, I see. Good for you

I actually have nothing much against Michigan other than the whole Yankee thing and the trip to that game in a private plane damn near killed SafetySam, which would have forced me to choose a new old lady which would have been a pain in the arse, and of course this was all Michigan's fault.

What? We're 1-0 and had a bye last week, right?

punches wall

If I have to choose between TAMU and Michigan doing well, of course I pick the Aggies, but damn did they have to go and get blanked by catholic baylor?

And tamc you'll have to fill me in later. Gotta go check in at work.

My Baptist deacon father would have a conniption fit over this phrase.

So it's all good.

I have no doubt that UT will only try to reschedule the game again once they feel like they might actually have a chance to win it. And when they do I hope we give them a big 'ol

As for their scheduling of michigan, we should learn from this. We too should schedule ooc games with schools that have name recognition and little else. It would give us the impression of having a tougher schedule.

The worst part is that whoever wins that game will brag about having a "Big win against a big program" and temporarily inflate "their return" before the rest of the season snaps them back into reality.

For what it's worth I've heard nothing but good things about Michigan fans from the Gamecocks who went to the Outback Bowl a couple of years ago.

I'm biased because Mom's an alum, but Michigan fans are less arrogant than texas fans. Only by the slimmest of margins, though

Generally the alums are good people...the "Walmart Wolverines" are the ones you gotta watch out for
