Fournette = Keiland Williams

Realistic expectations are that Fournette will be a solid dependable back. And that's ok. He's not going to be Adrian Peterson and neither will he have that kind of a career. And he's not winning any Heismans. He's good but he's not that good. That's what my eyes tell me.
I've seen those special backs take the field at LSU and you could tell they had IT. We haven't had many "special" backs at LSU and the last one was Kevin Faulk. You could tell when he took the field his first game against Texas a&m that he had IT. Vision, elusiveness, and a burst through the line. Fournette just doesn't have the "wow" factor to me.

I agree.
To me he looks like he is gonna be a real good down hill type back but not a Heisman contender.
He will have a shot at playing in the NFL but he won't be anywhere near Peterson's ability.
Just my opinion.

Adrian Peterson didn't exactly look all world in his debut in college. It took him a couple games to get rolling.

I agree with what you're saying to a point but it's soooo early to claim to know what LFs career will be, give him a season.
I did however get that "IT" feeling Lastnight when AU let Roc play. RT reminds me of Caddy!

Peterson rushed for 100 yards or more in every game except 1 as a freshman.

He's only played in two games. Everything is just speculation at this point. I think he is going to be spectacular. Big, fast and shifty. Give it time.

Fournette is going to be special. It's just going to take more time than we originally thought.

I agree.
He has no idea how to run. He looked terrible last night besides those two runs. When he gets in open space, he's amazing because he can make guys miss and the secondary guys can't tackle him. Maybe that's why they have him returning kickoffs.
But damn, watching him run sideline to sideline and never cut upfield against terrible Sam Houston was awful to watch. He doesn't know how to play the position.
He looked good catching out of the backfield, though.
Overall, not very happy that he's taking carries from Magee, who is a better back at this point.
