Coaching. Bill Clark may be one of the best coaches at any level. In his 9 years as a high school coach he managed to go 106-11 while winning the state championship the last two years he was at Prattville, including a win over Hoover while they were ranked in the top 10 in the country.

When he got his first chance to be a HC at the college ranks he took Jacksonville State to a 11-4 including the school's first ever playoff victory. Along with 49 school records, 13 OVC records and three NCAA records. And his UAB team that has been historically bad beat the breaks off of Troy to the tune of 48-10.

I'm not saying that UAB will win. Just that they can.

Got a feeling this is at least a 5 td rout.

They'll hang around until half. Then Miss St will realize this isn't a repeat of SMiss last week and they will put some distance on them in the third quarter.

Saban tried to hire him when he first got to UA. I think it was for whatever position Pruitt was eventually hired as. Clark is a hell of a coach. I was at Prattville during his time there. He turned that program around overnight and it appears that he's done the same with JSU and UAB.

We win by 4 TDs

UAB's offense isn't good enough to score consistently on us

Bill Clark is better than their previous coach. I think it's awesome that the smaller schools in Alabama are turning to HS coaches (Joey Jones, John Grass, Bill Clark). Jones has built South Alabama from the ground up and Clark has a chance to do great things at UAB, despite having little to nothing to work with.

Yes, it can rarely happen as for instance when Appalachian St. beat Michigan but given the difference it talent levels it is highly unlikely.
