I'd be pissed off too if one of them had Saban's name on it.

Over/Under on the "Going Out Of Business" sale for Mercedes dealer not named Saban's?

Nah. The North American Mercedes plant just resides in Tuscaloosa County to tempt us.

That's why the dealership hadn't already opened. Lawsuits...

But for real, I'd be surprised to see ANY Mercedes with Alabama license plates

Then I guess you actually believe that Alabamians starve, and basic government functions halt, to pay for Saban's salary and maintaining a multi-million dollar football program.

Do you try to look like an idiot or is this something that is natural?

he is a partner and this is an investment is my guess. A lot of millionaires do things on the side. Why you a hater anyway with the Debbie downer comments?

Can you post a picture of this street with multiple Mercedes?

I've always been fascinated with people who drive expensive cars while living in a trailer park.

People in real life can afford Mercedes in Alabama. In fact, my wife was on a trip to Birmingham with a co-worker last year and rear-ended a Mercedes In a Chic Fila drive thru. It happened to be Terry and Nick Saban. She was mortified. No damage to vehicles and they both jumped out to make sure she was OK. She said Saban was nice but aggravated and his wife was very nice. No harm, no foul.

Will Bama fans be like:
"Thank you, Lord Saban, yes I will be happy to pay $2,000 for a tune-up."

or will they be like:
"Damn, that dude wins football games, but he's dicking us over like every other dealership does."

I think eventually that innate best-interest instinct will win out. Putting his name on a traditional high-overhead dealership may be the only business enterprise that is guaranteed to tarnish his own personal brand.
