I can agree with this.

I dont think anyone is arguing that Saddam was a good guy
Remember, we didn't invade Iraq because Saddam was being a big meanie to his people. We invaded because we were told he had WMD's that were a direct threat to our security. Turns out he had some, but they were the ones we had sold to him in the 80's and were no longer useful.

The Trey/Rg saga goes boldly on. This is better than daytime television

Not always, but in this case where we didn't have concise end strategy objectives, I agree.
High time we cut our losses, so to speak.

How about we just let the Iraqis sort out Iraq? You can't fix ideology, especially religious based. America doesn't always know best, past or current. There are plenty of fricked up points of evolution in U.S. history.

Monetary interests

That's an asinine stance. If anything, it stems from large defense contracts, not OPEC.

So you think that after the oil runs out the western powers will give a frick about the middle east? No chance.

75 years or so ago if a country invaded another and won that battle then the invaded country became the formers property.
We need that again.
We need that again.

Iraq isn't a mess because we invaded.

Yes, we all know there are ulterior governmental motives, but can we speak on the merits of our opinions as citizens without interjecting special interests into the equation?

I seriously doubt we'd nuke another county. All hell would break loose.

It's a country RG. With citizens. Come on now.

This.
But don't let this logic stymie the hypotheticals, y'all

So... you want us to kick Iraqi's out of Iraq? Since when do we have the authority to kick people out of their own country?
We did it with the native americans.

Im not sure what this even means. The only reason we have boots on the ground in any of these countries is to protect our interests in the region.
