My sheets show Auburn -23
I would definately stay away... that line looks on point
yet you pronounce Arkansas will upset Auburn

My biggest takeaway from this is that the UT-Martin at Kentucky game is apparently going to be on ESPN at noon.
What the heck? I'll be there, so you can look for the UK fan in the stands of Commonwealth Stadium and recognize me.
Edit: The VI website is wrong, it's going to be on the SEC Network, of course. I expect everyone to be watching.

Looks about right. But yea, that's a lot of points for Florida to score and I wouldn't expect Bama to cover that many points @ WVU.

I would only bet on 3.
•Ole Miss (-10) vs. Boise State
Its Boise with less talent, a new coach, and on the road.
•South Carolina (-11) vs. Texas A&M
USCe is a more complete team, its at home, and A&M 1st game without JFF.
•Arkansas (+22) at Auburn
22 is alot in the SEC and nobody knows how long JJ will be in at QB or when Gus is going to let up. I wouldn't put much on it because if our QBs and WRs are as good as advertised, it could be a blow out against their secondary.

I don't bet a lot on college ball anyway, but I would NEVER bet the opening game for any team.
You have a much better gauge in the NFL and even that is uncertain. In college... no way.
Having said that, if I had to play some I would take:
Ole Miss
West Virginia
LSU
Arky

11 looks a little high with so many unknowns.
It's what is known about A&M that bumped it up to -11.....

Wisconsin plays a very weak schedule after LSU. If they can beat the Tigers, they must be considered for the playoff. With that in mind, id be careful about betting that game.
Alabama should be ok to cover, but id be careful about that one, too. Does Saban experiment with multiple qbs, etc? WV offense is decent. Can Bama stop the big plays?
Does Auburn s defense keep Arkansas from scoring enough to cover? Another tough pick.
To me, the easy picks are:
Carolina - experienced tough opening opponents, aTm not so much.
Idaho - Florida just will have a tough time scoring enough. easy win, but not over 35.5.

Tennessee -6 is easily the squarest play on the board
Not saying they won't cover but I wouldn't touch that line with a 40 foot rod
Phil Steele lists the number of returning starters for 128 teams. Utah St. is number 128 with 7.

Best bets are Arkansas and West Virginia.
Alabama and Auburn will both win but not cover.
