I think the first 3 years after college were the best of my life actually. Moved to Atl, then south florida. Met cool people, had money, partied hard when I could, dated some stupid hot women.
Life isn't over after college. In fact it can really get going after college even more at times.

I agree with this. Although I miss many things about college, it seemed kind of "fake" towards the end, as in college life just isnt really representative of real life, and it gets boring after a while.

Yeah, I was at AU 6 years and ready to move to a big city or 2 andsee some different things towards the end. by that time I had done everything at AU a few dozen times and wanted new and different.
In fact, by my last year in grad school, I had made friends in Atl and was going their to party 3-4 times a month.

friggin this
I regularly put in 75 hour weeks in college and was still broke.
Now I might work 45 a week, feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of it, and do wild shite with my friends on the weekend because I can afford it. I just can't understand why people long for college so much, no one twisted your arm to become boring when they handed you the degree.

I work 60 hours a week doing something I don't give a flying frick about and don't have enough spare money to do a whole lot because of the high cost of living in the DC area. It's got me in a funk, so I was trying to figure out if a lot of people had post college blues and it got better as you get acclimated. Or if I was in a situation I needed to change.

Honestly, I think you'd be much happier in a place where cost of living isnt so high. To not have any disposable income when working a shite ton can be demoralizing and depressing.

I had to get the frick out. I was so ready to go my last 6 months there. Spent the next 6 months regretting leaving.

This is way beyond just needing to acclimate. Unless there's some rediculous room for advancement and you'll be be out of the hole soon, you're in a shitty situation and need to get out.
