I think it should be in LSU's football operations building

Little Rock is more neutral than Birmingham and would be more centralized now that the sec added texas A&M and Missouri.

This discussion is still going on?
Really, let's all just agree they should move the damned thing to Nashville and celebrate our completely non-binding resolution with a beer. It seriously doesn't matter where the SEC offices are located, though a central(ish) location makes sense just for convenient travel for the very, very, very, very, very, very few people who actually have a legitimate reason to visit the SEC offices. For the rest of us, the location is only important as a source of conspiracy-mongering. Other than that, it doesn't have any practical effect on the business of the SEC.
And, no, the conspiracy-mongers do not have a legitimate point. Just so we're clear. The SEC is essentially a billion-dollar corporation. They make their decisions based on financial considerations, not geographic loyalty.

People in Nashville say that Arkansas should go ahead and annex Memphis, seeing as how that move would immediately raise the IQ level of both states!

Since the SECCG is in Atlanta, there's a thought.

Correct. Putting it in Houston would be a catastrophic mistake

Totally agree. Only way to end...impossible. NM

Then why is the SECCG played there?

They have a dome.
The SECCG isn't going anywhere, and neither is the SEC HQ.
The only realistic venue to do both is Nashville, but that is not going to happen.
